The Nawarram class is a hive of activity. Miss Monique provides a high quality learning program for students in years 7-10. Miss Monique started teaching at Purnululu School at the beginning of 2018 after graduating from a Bachelor of Education in Tasmania. The Nawarram students at Purnululu School engage in Accelerate Literacy and Stepping Stones lessons each day along with many investigative projects and inquiry based units of learning.

The Nawarram classroom is a well-resourced, happy and inviting learning space. Students access iPads, Windows Surfaces (laptops), an interactive whiteboard and a range of other tools for learning. Every student has an Individual Education Plan developed by their teacher and Aboriginal Teaching Assistant alongside their parents, to ensure each and every student is on track to reaching their full potential.
